Tonight is the Sutter County Lincoln Day Dinner!

Charlie is looking forward to meeting with supporters and new friends in Sutter County. Sutter County is Schaupp Country – Charlie has been a family farmer since the 1800′s and is running to restore congress from the insane environmental regulations that threaten family farms.

Charlie will be meeting supporters and new friends to share his vision to restore congress.

Today is the Yuba County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner – these are the main fundraisers for County Central Committees. Charlie will be attending the Lincoln Day Dinner, paying for tickets in contrast to the custom of many candidates or officeholders that are often comped tickets.

Yuba and Sutter County are the heart of CD03 – agricultural areas that are always targeted by the extreme environmental policies of John Garamendi.

Charlie is looking forward to facing off with the other contestants for CD03.

Tonight is a Candidate debate hosted by the Yuba/Sutter Tea Party – Charlie will be laying out his vision for Restoring Congress.

Over the past three decades he has served in a variety of elected and appointed offices, including deputy secretary of the Department of the Interior, California’s lieutenant governor and insurance commissioner, and a member of the state Senate and Assembly.

Schaupp is a fourth generation farmer, retired U.S. Marine lieutenant colonel who is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and the Iraq War, having taken part in 2004’s Battle of Fallujah, as well as the former chairman of the Yolo County Republican Party, a former Yolo County Taxpayers Association director, and previous Esparto School District trustee.
